this is bear Tech a Big Bear Valley education trust program in collaboration with the Bear Valley Unified School District the program includes Big Bear Elementary School classroom rooted in nature play Space curriculum and collaborative teaching and learning environment praying is a unique geological formation that occur only in Big Bear in Holcomb Valley and nowhere else in the world before going on Expedition teachers front load students with background knowledge for higher-level questioning this lesson about pressure give students some understanding about compressed air the students made their own compressor nozzles and showed them to the community at Sea night it was they also like how we we made snow do we can make 39 40 degrees CPR Lake in our forest playing is or is important to go to me and to everyone is because the forces and trees make oxygen and food if you need some people are ruining our Oxygen by just leaving trash around thank you so much for letting us go through the garden I really appreciate we went to the community God knows really funny because we got to harvest carrots and potatoes and a lot of stuff and we got to eat the carrots in the Beet and I really enjoyed it students also got to grow their own vegetables inside the classroom and out in the peak Garden go to the station like the plant all the Botanical illustrator coming in students learned about and sketched local flora and fauna as well as learning how to take care of them students learned about programming bluebat to go on certain colors and shapes and two places on a map before students engineer prototypes they draw out their plans and discuss them with Partners students enjoy being creative with their Define all designs and plans are viewed during presentation Randy Pope came and educated the students about the importance of birds then he took them on a bird walk where they identify all sorts of birds and even found nests in trees I like to You Bebe. Mean a charm bracelets at and when it goes all the sun mix colors that makes sense because we could go outside and rainbow stuffed with the gun show sites to look at the rainbow snowshoeing in that was also super fun going there is learning more like it's better learning and Mike Stevenson from the Municipal Water District educated the students about how to be good stewards of our like before going to the lake students learned all about cells Pop Rocks as the chromosomes I'm a greater understanding about single and multiple celled organisms students gathered Lake samples and viewed microorganisms under a high-powered microscope thing that I liked a lot David Lawrence coming from barwa into the class to talk about replenish big Fair because like he's important guy and I learned at how they're going to fill up or and get Big Bear population up so that was interesting visitors or visitor's up here on my way back to work on bigger population because we can take water and we can put it back into our aquifer everybody who's anybody we went to the Fish Hatchery and it was really fun we got to feed the fish and the fish when we set them started jumping up the fish hatchery was really Birdman NBA actually got to see the fish from like when they were fry up to when they were all adult and their colors so that was really fun students got to experience and observe the life stages of trout in the classroom they were so small when they first got them they had to look through. free Loops to see if they could see and I they will release the trout into the lake before the end of the school year cuz I like the picture thank you for all your support and also I love and I am so appreciated that you guys let's do all these physical activities for science play Space education memes it means a lot to me it's help me strive in my school and become a better student I've been more interactive with my learning just I've been in for robbing a student and it's helped many more students play Space education to me it's very fun because it's interactive the experiments were conducted is much more fun than reading out of a textbook a big fat I like learning science but like not in a textbook burning with my hands on in like actually mm being in the fresh air until it's like super easier for me thankful for everything that the school has done for us I feel a lot more open to science more Hands-On and a better experience 8Ball & highlight kit Fish Hatchery was outside and I think that's a great idea because first go outside you're surrounded by all the beautiful things that are on this Earth Pets I just like it outside cuz I feel like it's more it's more open space and I feel like you can learn a lot more when you're because science is a human interest
